Nordic Studies
on Alcohol and Drugs

is a journal for social research on alcohol and drugs and their related policies mainly from a Nordic perspective. The journal is published both in the Scandinavian languages (3-4 issues per year) and in English (2-3 issues per year).

Although the journal covers all kinds of addictions, it has an emphasis on alcohol and illicit drugs. NAT has an international readership that includes researchers, alcohol and drug policy authorities, politicians, voluntary organizations, the treatment sector, the alcohol monopolies, and the media. NAT publishes research reports, commentaries, reviews, book reviews, conference reports, and Nordic alcohol statistics.
